An Information On Important Tourist Attraction Of Shanghai

Shanghai is located on the banks of the Huangpu River, a tributary of the Yangtze. The river divides the city into two parts, Pudong, the east and Puxi, west. Shanghai is not only a large business center with offices of international corporations and a large number of exhibitions and conferences. The city also offers a wealth of tourist attractions, such as, for example, a rare park called the Garden of Joy (Yuyuan), a picturesque waterfront and famous Buddhist monastery Vaytan the Jade Buddha Temple (Yuyfosy). From the center you can take a short trip to one of the Buddhist temples in Shanghai, the Jade Buddha Temple. One of the most famous monuments in Shanghai. The temple was built in 1882 and received its name from two images of Buddha Shakyamuni sculptures brought from Burma. A statue of Buddha seated 1.9 m in height and more than a ton weight dropped from a single piece of white jade, decorated with precious stones. The temple also is storage of 72 volumes of Buddhist texts of the period of Ch’ing.

Joy Garden (Yuyuan)

The most famous set of architecture and landscape of the Park Shanghai Yuyuan (Garden of Joy). At the entrance, in the middle of a pond is a pentagonal Husintin tea house. The garden covers an area larger than four hectares. It has an original design with artificial lakes, islands and mountains. Here is immersed in the atmosphere of ancient China. Numerous pavilions, artificial ponds, bridges and rocks create an atmosphere of eternal joy. This is a classic Chinese-style garden with a touch of the south, which dates back over 400 years ago.

There are over 40 beautiful places, like a dragon-shaped wall, twisted galleries, etc. that is used to show tourists the most valuable monuments of the garden in southern China from the Ming and Qing has to prove.

At a height of 263 meters, 271 and 350 tourists can visit a revolving restaurant, bar, dance floor, booth space with an observation deck, meeting rooms and cafes. At present, the Pudong district is called a mirror that reflects the success of economic reforms in China, and the Tower card is the metropolis of Shanghai.

Lunhuasy Monastery

During your Shanghai travel you must visit Lunhuasy monastery known as the complex’s oldest and largest monastery in Shanghai. The monastery was built by the ruler Tsyanshu. The campus has a tiered pagoda Lunhuata. The monastery also invites you to its famous peach garden.

River Huanputszyan
